Bent Rod
A common sight when Nick was in the boat.
When your pictures start to get boring
Pretend you are scared. Nick did a lot better on this one than I did. I kinda look like i’m trying to catch popcorn.
Fish Creek Park
Getting ready to pull away from the launch. This was our usual float most days. Fish Creek to the Highwood and row out.
Two Thumbs up
Nick was always having a blast. I believe this was when I first got the adipose flow. He liked the high seats and the ability to do his spin-o-rama moves during fish fights.

Pretty standard
Nick was in charge of the lunch for our first number of years together. It was a big deal for him and he would work on it throughout the week. Nick was always up to date with all the news from Costco. He forced me to up my on river food game.
The ol stomping grounds
Prior to 2013 we used to frequent this lunch spot and Nick would do his thing. Gary and Nick shared a birthday so this was a double header.

It was always nice when nick would take over lunch preparation.
The Infamous Beaver hat
I can’t remember the number, but Nick paid a large sum for his "Beaver felt” hat when he ewes younger. Lots of character, not as much as the man wearing it tho.
Mr. Mc Fie
Dave was a longtime friend of Nick and would make it out a couple times a summer usually.
Mike with a Rainbow
Nick loved fishing With his family and friends. He would fill his calendar early in the pre-season and make sure that he got to fish with everyone.

“Heres to the god of the Bow river. May it serve up its best, its Rainbows and its Browns.” (sprinkle scotch in water off left shoulder.) (sprinkle scotch off his right shoulder.) “No whitefish” (sprinkle scotch behind him.)
